| 1. | How many authors are
featured on each video tape? One! Each tape is an individual, at-home interview with a well-known children's author. |
| 2. | How long is each
tape/DVD? The videos run anywhere from 18 - 22 minutes. Just long enough for one classroom period. |
| 3. | Who are the videos appropriate
for? They're designed for students who are reading the author's work. For example, you would show the Robert Cormier tape to a class that is reading The Chocolate War and the Aliki video to a class that is reading Feelings. |
| 4. | My students are used
to watching MTV. Will these videos keep their interest? We make every effort to make the videos interesting for young viewers. Just be sure that you preface each showing by letting the student realize that they are watching an interview with one of their favorite authors Ð not one of their favorite TV stars. |
| 5. | I've seen author material
that is quite old. How old are these videos? The oldest of these vieos was produced in 1991. The majority of the videos were produced within the last 5 years. |
| 6. | Do you have a preview
policy? We do not, but many distributors who carry these tapes do. |
| 7. | Can I return a video if I don't think it meets my needs? You can return anything within 30 days of receipt. |
